SAVE THE DATE:
Tuesday, March 27, 2018 (6:30-9:00PM)

On the heels of the #MeToo and #Timteisup movement, Brown Girl Magazine, Karuna Chani of KC Makeup, and Sakhi for South Asian Women unite to give South Asian women in our community a platform to share their stories and accounts of sexual harassment and assault on Tuesday, March 27.

The panel discussion will consist of women who are daughters, wives, sisters, and survivors. They’ve pushed through barriers to make a name for themselves in their respective industries but they have a story to tell. Until now, their stories have been well-kept secrets because they’ve been afraid to share what no one wants to hear or admit, but what they have to say will give more women the courage to speak up and tell their truth.

Join the discussion and show your support by attending with an open heart. We are requesting a suggested donation, which will go towards Sakhi’s work to build gender justice and equity in our community.

Drinks, small bites, and dessert will be served.

Register via Eventbrite.
